Super Saiyan
To achive the level of a super saiyan, a saiyan has to achive a hidden power inside of them.
But to do this a saiyan must release a certain type of anger from inside of them. Such as when krillin died on Namek, he transfomed into a super saiyan.Super Saiyan 2
In order to achieve this transformation, the Saiyan must first gain a large quantity of energy (usually by training), far beyond that required for the first Super Saiyan form. Once enough energy is acquired, the Saiyan must experience much like the Super Saiyan transformation, but to a greater extent.
Super Saiyan 3
To reach Super Saiyan 3, you have to use all of your life force, your ki, and your full power. You may need the help from other living things around you, like the spirit bomb.
