My favorite hero isn't really one you would hear about frequently, such as Spider-Man, Super-Man, etc.But still, lots of people do. It's an character from a series called Dragon Ball. His name is Goku. He was created in Akira Toriyama and had his first appearance in 1984. He was raised on earth but born on a planet called Vegeta. Their race is called Saiyan. Saiyans look just like humans but they just wear armor and have tails. They were space pirates that worked for another space pirate, named Frieza. He was originally sent to earth to destroy it, but when he was a child, he had a serious head injury that wiped his memory of his home and mission.
Goku is a very strong Saiyan; stronger than mostly all of his race. He has achieved levels of power that have been legends up until now.On a planet called Namek, Goku has to fight the head space pirate Frieza. He knows he cannot win, but in a dramatic turn around, he reaches the level of the Super Saiyan.
